Anyhow, I imagine that being related to six presidents makes him "ready on day one." ;)
The most distinguished person I am aware of being related to myself is John Alden of Mayflower fame. Other descendants of John Alden include Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, John Adams, Adlai Stevenson III, the two Bushes--sadly!--and, more happily, Marilyn Monroe! Even Orson Wells.
If I am related to the Bushes, and Obama also is, does that mean I am somehow related to Obama? I suppose perhaps it does.

I am officially related to U.S Grant. thats about it for my distingushed family tree as far as I know.
Richard Nixon and Jesse James are in mine... Maybe that isn't something I should tell people!
